All-time veterinary practice I accept always used. I still make a point of scheduling my appointments with them when I am up visiting family fifty-fifty though my current home is 2 hrs away. They are at least $50 cheaper/fauna for annual check-ups and all the staff are friendly and professional. Dr. Rummel and Dr. Bonsell are both very qualified veterinarians. We owe Dr. Rummel a peachy debt of gratitude for the compassionate care he gave our domestic dog in his last year of life and the kindness he showed when it was time to put the dog to slumber.

Worst possible experience in dealing with a traumatic experience our canis familiaris was recently put down after she had been hit by a car. She was brought in by animal command for a mandatory rabies examination since she scrap the control officeholder. Called the vet and at beginning they had no record of her being brought at that place. Than went on to tell me in detail what they had to practice for the rabies exam. Few weeks later they called to tell u.s. someone else's dogs ashes were ready to be picked up. We in turn showed upwards and my married man informed them of the telephone phone call and the spiral up of dogs names. Non but did they not apologize but they than turned around and asked him if he was picking upwards this other dog also. They made an extremely traumatic state of affairs even more traumatic. I don't know annihilation about the vets merely I practice know from the experience with the part staff would never entrust my other animals with them!!

I have been going to Howes Cave for many years.Dr. Bonsell and Rummel are 1st rate.

I feel sorry for the retarded domestic dog that Dr. Bonsell identified. I empathise retarded dogs and they demand dear too! My dog is very smart and Dr. Bonsell deals with him simply fine..if she can deal so well with the smart dogs...the simple ones similar yours are a like shooting fish in a barrel!

I would like to say that I have nothing but the utmost respect for Dr. Bonsell. She was nothing less than professional and sympathetic to my situation. We are brand new to this practise. I had a very sick cat and she took the time and care to give a thorough exam and explained all options. Unfortunately, nosotros had to put our beloved cat, Socks, to sleep. We couldn't have done information technology without Dr. Bonsell. The staff was also empathetic and professional too during this very hard time.

I just wanted to mention that everyone at this animal hospital is well qualified and my Sis Dr. Bonsell is non the insane i hither!!! squeamish thing to write and so ignorantly about someone seriously

I take never had a more compassionate, knowledgable, or honest vet than Dr. David Rummel. "Dr. Dave" goes 110% to assistance both your brute and you at every stage of life and health. He clearly adores the four-leggers who walk into his office, but is conservative in his protocol -- no million dollar surgeries if something very simple and/or noninvasive might work first. He also is completely respectful of an owner's wishes in terms of their dear one'due south end-of-life care. I have owned companion animals for decades and definitely seen my share of vets -- there'southward no one like him. (And anyone who refers to my cats as "little furry gentlemen" is aces in my book.) You can't go wrong with Howes Cavern Animal Hospital.

I can't say enough about this practise. The staff are wonderful. They care near your pets just honor your requests to care for your pets the way you want to. They have many meds on site and in a pinch volition post meds to you for a very nominal fee.

Howes Cave Beast Infirmary was dissimilar any other vets function I had used. They were very knowledgeable nearly the problem that my kitten was facing. I gave them a try anyway and was very impressed. Since then, I oasis't looked dorsum and have recommended quite a few others. Dr. Tiffany Bonsell is my favorite. She is down-to-earth and takes the time to explicate things. Their prices on products such equally frontline or advantix are actually pretty pricey so i recommend buying these elsewhere.

CONS: cost of flea products

Everyone is very friendly at this vet function. They tin become you an appointment pretty fast, and are very flexible. They are wonderful with all animals, and very reasonable with pricing. They care more than about the animal than they do for the money. Information technology's very nice to go somewhere knowing your pet will be taken care of no matter what.
